The 8^th ‘Track & Maintenance - VTM’ Conference will continue the debate started in 2003 on the techniques of building, maintenance and up-keep of railway track and on how the manufacturers’ offer matches the needs of operators. By bringing together rail track professionals from the four corners of the world - Australia, United States, China, Europe - VTM enables a comparison of the needs and expectations of operators worldwide, a discussion around the cost problems of various operations, the rhythm of maintenance work, the choice between ballasted and slab track, etc. VTM has now become the uncontested international rail track forum for networking and the exchange of experiences in the profession.
